Communications
The mission of the Communications Team is to enhance the image and recognition of the EcoCAR Team through various initiatives. By integrating the team's mission, vision, goals and ideals into their efforts, they aim to publicise the efforts of the UC Davis EcoCAR Team. The Communications Team achieves this by utilizing social media, organizing outreach events, and publishing articles, all to convey a comprehensive understanding of what EcoCAR stands for.
Additionally, the team places significant emphasis on outreach, as promoting STEM and EV education is a core part of their mission. By engaging with the community and youth audiences, the Communications Team seeks to inspire and educate the next generation about the importance of sustainable technology and innovation in the automotive industry.
Outreach
The team focuses on conducting outreach with three groups: K-12 audiences, community audiences, and government audiences. All these events feature a hands-on activity and insightful discussions regarding STEM and EV topics.
Social Media & Content
The team develops engaging content for our campus audience to interact with, including blog posts and other media that showcase our current projects and initiatives. We also strive to highlight our achievements and provide updates on the team's progress to keep our community informed.
